About

I am an early modern philosopher.

I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for the Academy of Finland funded project "Gender in Renaissance and Early Modern Philosophy", led by Martina Reuter at the University of Jyväskylä.

Prior to taking up this fellowship, I was a

Postdoctoral Research Fellow with Extending New Narratives in the History of Philosophy at McGill University (2022-2024), and an Anderson Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Sydney in 2022.

I received my PhD in Philosophy from the University of Sydney in December 2021.

My research in early modern philosophy principally focuses on the philosophy of David Hume and Catharine Macaulay. I am particularly interested in early modern conceptions of social cognition and childhood development.

With Allauren Forbes, I hold a SSHRC Connection Grant for the project Women & Epistemic Emotions in the Early Modern Period
